Live Aloha Art Festival in Hilo
This annual festival features music, theater, film, visual art and more. It is put on by The New Alchemist, Full Life Hawai’i, Abled Hawai’i Artists, Kosmo Mimzi Theater and East Hawai’i Cultural Center. Sunday will also feature the Live Aloha Film Festival at ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center. All events will take place at the East Hawai’i Cultural Center & ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center and are free to the public. Find out more online here.
The Kona Jazz Experience
Feeling jazzy? This Saturday January 11th, the 9th Annual Kona Jazz Experience proudly presents “Sax & Steel” featuring Bill Noble and Dwight Tokumoto. They will be paying tribute to the Jazz Saxophone and the Hawaiian Steel Guitar. The concert benefits the Big Island’s historic Aloha Theatre. Get tickets here.
