We are breaking down all the best things to do on the Big Island this weekend!

This weekend we are super excited about the IRONMAN® 70.3® Hawaii. This Saturday is race day for the many athletes competing in Honu (the race nickname, after the Hawaiian green sea turtle.) The race officially starts at 6:30am at the beautiful Fairmont Orchid, Hawai'i, with an awards ceremony at 6pm. For more event details, visit the official page online here. This is a qualifier race for the 2019 IRONMAN® Word Championship taking place later this year in Kona. Best of luck to all the racers, we are cheering you on!

We are also excited to see what's in store for this year's Made in Hawai'i Film Festival as it begins in Hilo. The festival celebrates the best of Hawaii independent films and Opening Night is Friday, May 31st at Hilo Palace Theatre.
