We've got some great ideas for you this week!
Social Distancing Ideas
Start a Garden.
In times of uncertainty, gardening can be great therapy. Now is a great time to work on your landscaping or grow food for you family. Let the little ones in on this one, it's a great idea for the whole family. Our local nursery is even taking orders for pick up plant starters. We are growing Okra, Kale, Squash, Eggplant and so much more. We have found the best way to grow veggies on our part of the island is in raised beds. Make your own or buy one (we like this one on Amazon).
Interview your Grandparents (or parents).
Call/Facetime your grandparents and interview about their lives. Find out all those details of their life you never thought to ask before. We suggest recording it for posterity.
Do Your Taxes.
The good news is, you have extra time this year. The bad new is, you still gotta do them. Let's get this party started.
Get a Coloring Book.
Color with your kids, or color by yourself! We love our adult coloring books. Spending time coloring helps to literally relax your brain. It's kind of like meditation, only it might be more fun for you.
Learn the Hawaiian language.
Duolingo offers free a way to learn the Hawaiian language. It's fun and free and just takes a few minutes a day!

I’m social distancing by being the only person working onsite in our 15-person office. Everyone else is working from home, but someone had to be here and I love it! I’ll have to learn to share again when they all get back! ๐
I have already taken 4 lessons in learning the Hawaiian language and a little bit about the culture and history. It’s fun. I’ll be ready to go in 3 years when I actually do the move!
